As a physician working in a hospital-affiliated practice, I specialized in caring for people with HIV infection, people struggling with substance use disorders, and those requiring palliative care of chronic and terminal conditions. In 2015, I became certified to prescribe medical marijuana for the purpose of alleviating suffering. Since that time, I have evaluated numerous patients in face-to-face visits. No longer seeing patients in an office or hospital setting, I am now offering medical marijuana re-certification to the residents of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts via a telehealth (internet-based) visit.
